Chill Chart - Teachers, outdoor workers or just casual shoppers -
here's the site to get a copy of the National Weather Service's official Wind
Chill Chart. Its available in two sizes - compact and a full 11 x 8 1/2
inch size (PDF format). The page also explains how the wind chill index
was revised, and includes a "calculator" for you to quickly find out
exactly what the wind chill is right now.

National Weather Service Radar - Quick links to EVERY N-W-S doppler radar site in the Nexrad network. Just click a city's "pushpin" on the map and you'll find several radar options.
Weatherview - A highly informative site from the Iowa Department of Transportation. Use it to check current road condition reports - in both map and text format, get road surface temperature information, even check out a regional forecast that tells you when precipitation is expected to begin and end!
Iowa Road Conditions The Iowa State Patrol updates a map of the state every 5 minutes, reporting on snow and rain on the roads throughout Iowa. This map shows all major highways. You can also select a map showing only interstates.
